So I’ve been writing intro posts for my xstuck characters
Would anybody be interested in them if I were to post them here? So far I’ve got Rai, Omi, Kimiko, most of Clay’s, and Xiaolin Chase.
In an ideal world I’d post them with pictures but I don’t have the energy to whip any pictures up right now.

This blog has over 50 followers! That’s a lot for something this silly, hahaha. I’m currently unable to access my computer (car trouble, long story) but when I get a chance, I’ll try to whip up some kind of xiaolinstuck thank-you doodle or something. :D
Would making it an AU be any help? Since there seems to be a lot of annoying bits... or if not the Xiaolin going home for a bit when they play the game to explain the meteor thing?
AnonymousWell, it is already an AU of sorts, in that I’m bending the rules of Homestuck in order to fit with Xiaolin Showdown, and tweaking certain small details in Xiaolin Showdown in order to fit with Homestuck. I don’t want to change too many details, because part of the fun of it is working within the boundaries set down by canon.
I did consider them going home for a bit, but that doesn’t solve the problem of Good Jack and Xiaolin Chase, not to mention that Wuya’s probably hanging around Chase when the game starts, so it’d be a double whammy.
Last before I have to leave, sadly: any trolls or troll analouges planned?

No. No trolls, no troll analogues or counterparts. It’s not necessary for this version of the game.
Wow I guess I have a lot of questions. Hope you don't mind. Anyway: first guardians/ectobiology. Thoughts?

There is no ectobiology in xiaolinstuck, at least not for the whole group. There is one character who may be created through ectobiology, for giggles and because now that I think about it, it makes a LOT of sense. Hahaha. OKAY THAT’S CANON NOW. Not saying who, but ONE of the 12 players is an ectobaby. Yes. But besides them, ectobiology doesn’t really make sense, especially since there’d have to be duplicate babies what with Jack and Chase having their good selves playing the game along with them. Yeah. I hope that makes sense.
As for first guardians, I’m not sure. I don’t know how relevant to the plot of xiaolinstuck they are, and I mean I don’t really need another Doc Scratch or Bec or GCat. If I did have first guardians, I’ve no idea who they’d be. Besides Dojo, maybe. I dunno. Probably not.
So...here's something: what is the initial impetus to get into sburb? In homestuck a meteor crashes in the spot, but if the players here are trying to save the world from bean then that wouldn't be a viable motivation, leaving aside the fact that a meteor can't, say, strike the temple four times. I guess what I'm asking is: what happens when the players load the game in this continuity?
I’m still trying to figure that out. You’re right, the meteors won’t work with sbean, because not only are several of the players starting from the same place, two of them aren’t even in the right place or time; Good Jack starts from the Yin-Yang World and Xiaolin Chase from 1500 years in the past. There may be Shen Gong Wu involved or just weird mystical crap, I don’t know. It’s a bit of a block for me, honestly.
What I do know is that whatever it is will likely wipe out the planet entirely, rather than taking out chunks of it and leaving the rest to rot. There will be no exiles and nothing taking place on planet Earth after the fact so I might as well get rid of it. xD
Are Derse and Prospit still things here? If so, who dreams where?
Oh, geez, that is a REALLY GOOD QUESTION. I don’t think I ever got around to figuring that out! Hmmm. I’m not sure if I decided that Derse and Prospit and Skaia and all were still things, but I suppose they’d have to be if I want god tiers to be easily attainable…or as easily attainable as god tiers can be.
Let me just blurt out some rough ideas of who dreams where. These will be subject to change and I’ll be happy to explain my reasoning for anyone who asks.
Prospit dreamers: Jack, Vlad, Xiaolin Chase, Omi, Kimiko, Clay.
Derse dreamers: Good Jack, Chase, Wuya, Rai, Katnappe, Jermaine.
Yeah that’ll probably change. But there you go!

Life kind of got in the way for a while, but yeah, I’m still around and haven’t given up on Xiaolinstuck or anything. But I haven’t really had any ideas for it for a while, so I figured I could have kind of a world-building Q & A thing, where you guys can ask me anything you want about Xiaolinstuck - the blog, the story, the idea, the characters, how it differs from homestuck, whatever strikes your fancy. I don’t know. It’s up to you, followers!
